How should Catholic children be introduced to Scripture?
Sadly, most story Bibles don't provide the answer. Too often, they reduce the Bible to a random collection of disconnected tales, lean away from the sacraments and Mary, and don't show the typological connections of how the Old Testament is fulfilled by Jesus in the New.
The Story of All Stories: A Story Bible for Young Catholics is different.
With Emily Stimpson Chapman's engaging storytelling and Diana Renzina's beautiful illustrations, children experience the Bible as one sweeping narrative of God's love for them.
Written for children aged 7–13, each chapter offers Key Points that help kids take away concrete lessons from every story, Key Connections that highlight how the Old Testament foreshadows the New, and quotes from saints, popes, and Church Fathers that help kids see where their very own Catholic faith comes from.
The Story of All Stories is truly how Catholic children were meant to encounter Scripture.

Fwd: Your 2025 Wrapped (Come and See edition)
Celebrating Jesus along the Amazon River
Dear Rafé,
If all your favorite music and social media can do a "2025 Wrapped," we figured—why not us, too?
So, here it is.
Your Come and See 2025 Wrapped. (Minus any ads.)
The top moments YOU made possible this year:
Most-translated TV season in history
Season 1 of The Chosen officially broke a Guinness World Record. More languages than any TV show has ever reached. Ever.
Millions watched. For Free.
Through The Chosen App and The Chosen Lite, people around the world pressed play—freely. No subscriptions. No barriers.
Heart-language > everything
People didn't just watch. They understood. They heard the story of Jesus in the language they speak, pray, and think.
Unexpected places. Real people. Real impact.
From major cities to remote communities, stories kept coming in—hope restored, faith renewed, conversations started.
What made all of this possible? YOU did.
Your generosity. Your prayers. Your willingness to support the story—again and again.
If this were a real Wrapped, it would end with something like: "Thanks for being a top listener."
But this is bigger than that.
You helped carry the story of Jesus to the world.
And together, we're "just getting started."

Dear E. Rafael
Dear Hub Hosts,
Thank you for joining us last week for our Hub Activation Call. It was energizing to sense the collective intention in the room and hear the diverse ways you're thinking about convening your communities for the u-lab journey ahead.
Whether you're seasoned in hosting or just beginning to explore the possibility, you're part of a global network of changemakers creating the conditions for transformation to emerge locally while staying connected to our worldwide learning community.
Revisit the Conversation
- Watch the Full Recording: Access the complete session to revisit our exploration of hub activities, early engagement strategies, and community-building approaches.
- Watch Dayani's Hub Origin Story In this 15-minute excerpt, Dayani Centeno-Torres shares her journey of starting a local hub—from initial inspiration to building a thriving 10-year community. Her essential insight: focus on creating experiences and relationships. "Focus on the experience and people will go back to understanding the details later. They just need the experience to see that something different is possible in terms of relationships, working together, and having a different vision of the future."
Some Possible Next Steps
Based on our conversation and the journaling we did together, here are some immediate next steps you could explore:
- Reach out to 1-2 potential collaborators who might join you in co-hosting
- Identify your first small gathering opportunity (could be as simple as inviting 3-5 people for coffee and conversation about the course themes)
- Review the Hub Host Guide for practical resources
- Connect with other hub hosts in the Hub Host Space to share ideas and ask questions
Stay Connected
Here are some upcoming optional community sessions that you may want to have on your calendar, and / or possibly share with others in your network:
We had a Community Activation Call scheduled next Tuesday, September 2nd, however, as a team we're realizing the need to reduce the number of calls, and to direct that energy towards our course-kick off on September 11th.
Hub Activation Call: Thursday, September 4th, 9:00-10:00 AM EDT / Zoom Link to Join
If you're considering hosting a hub this year and would like to learn more about convening your community through the u-lab journey, you're welcome to join this session designed for current and aspiring hub hosts.
Course Kick-off Call: September 11, 9:00-10:00 AM EDT / Zoom Link to Join
Join us live as we officially launch the 8-week journey together.
During the session, Dayani highlighted: this isn't about creating "your" hub—it's about activating community space where transformation can emerge through collective practice and authentic connection.
It's about cultivating the social soil. What could emerge through the different islands of coherence we might each nurture this u-lab season?
With gratitude for your commitment to this work,
Dayani, Deniz, Stefan and the rest of The u-lab Team

We opened our time together with Charles Starrett sharing grounding principles for holding safe and generative spaces—a reminder that how we set the container becomes the soil for what grows out of content we explore together. These principles were developed and refined by Jung, Charles, and other hub collaborators over the past years.
Grounding Principles for Hub Spaces
From Charles Starret, shared during our Hub Activation Call:
- Confidentiality: We keep our own experience, but leave who said what in the room.
- No Expectation to Speak: There is no obligation or expectation to speak. We share if we feel something wants to be shared. My participation with my presence is already a gift to the group, and the group's presence is a gift to me.
- Present and Practicing: In our shared space, participation means being present and practicing listening with an open mind of curiosity, an open heart of compassion, and an open will of courage. Noticing what comes up and attending to it with care.
- No Advice Giving: There is no advice giving. We are not here to fix things or to find solutions, but to see more clearly and broadly. As for feedback, we share our own wisdom of seeing, feeling and sensing what wants to emerge in our generative field, using "I" statements.
- Silence is Welcome: Silence is part of the conversation and we welcome it. Anyone may request a pause for the group to take a moment of silence at any time.
