Dear USF community:
As I prepare to step away from my role as president of our great university at the end of this week, I am filled with pride and gratitude for all that we have accomplished. When I first arrived on campus as an employee and student in the 1960s, this was a small commuter school. Today, USF is one of the nation's leading public research universities and a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities.
That kind of transformation is extremely rare in higher education, especially this quickly, and it hasn't happened by accident. Our university has continued to flourish thanks to the dedication and talent of our faculty, staff, students and alumni, and the generosity of our donors. I also am forever grateful to the Board of Trustees, the Florida Board of Governors and our elected officials for their unwavering confidence in USF, and our many public and private partners who have collaborated with us to address challenges and seize opportunities. Their support has been instrumental in helping our students thrive and in expanding USF's impact throughout our region and the state.
USF is on an incredible trajectory, and I know it will continue to climb under the stewardship of Dr. Moez Limayem, whose first day on campus as president will be Feb. 17. He will bring proven experience as a university leader; extensive knowledge of USF, the Tampa Bay region and higher education in Florida; and a deep commitment to the success of our students, faculty and staff.
USF has been my passion for more than 40 years, and I credit much of my own personal and professional success to how this university has helped shape my life. The opportunity to be the first alum to serve as president over the past 4 ½ years has been both humbling and inspiring. Working alongside our world-class faculty and staff, and witnessing the growth, resilience and achievements of our students, has been an absolute privilege. I was pleased to share more of my reflections on my tenure as president and how the university has changed over the years in a new episode of Inside USF: The Podcast, which is available here.
Thank you for your trust, your support and your dedication to our university. I have tremendous confidence in the future of USF, and I can't wait to see what's next.
As always, Go Bulls!Rhea Law

Dear Fountain CommUnity,
As 2025 closes its door and 2026 is now upon us, it is with great gratitude that we at The Fountain for the Natural Order of Our Existence share with you a review of our works from this challenging, interesting, and beautiful year of 2025. Each one of you reading this has brought a generosity of spirit, time, and/or financial support has helped us to navigate this unpredictable year. We are eternally grateful and truly could not be doing this without you!
Over the course of the year, we have continued to learn more about ourselves as individuals, ourselves as members of a group, about our organization, and about our precious Earth. We at the Fountain continue to ceaselessly work to spread hope, resilience, and regeneration for our collective health and well-being. Along the way, we are grateful to have accomplished so much to allow us to keep following the direction of the Elders and Mother Earth's callings.
In 2025, we were deeply honored to receive $250,000 in donations small and large. These donations flowed into our various funding pools to support this important work.
For this coming year, we have drafted A 2026 Plan of Abundance: Flowing Healing to Mother Earth which outlines a plan to allow us the freedom to flow the abundance of our work far and wide. There are many pools to fill, and we are eternally grateful for your continued generosity of spirit, attention, and the sharing of our work with others. And, of course any financial contribution large and small to support the ongoing needs of the organization.
Read on to learn more about how your donations were utilized in 2025 and what is needed in order to continue our work in 2026. May this New Year bring you much abundance and love!
In kindness,
Zahra Indigo, ED
Jypti Ma, Founder

Fwd: This is how Catholic children were meant to encounter Scripture...
How should Catholic children be introduced to Scripture?
Sadly, most story Bibles don't provide the answer. Too often, they reduce the Bible to a random collection of disconnected tales, lean away from the sacraments and Mary, and don't show the typological connections of how the Old Testament is fulfilled by Jesus in the New.
The Story of All Stories: A Story Bible for Young Catholics is different.
With Emily Stimpson Chapman's engaging storytelling and Diana Renzina's beautiful illustrations, children experience the Bible as one sweeping narrative of God's love for them.
Written for children aged 7–13, each chapter offers Key Points that help kids take away concrete lessons from every story, Key Connections that highlight how the Old Testament foreshadows the New, and quotes from saints, popes, and Church Fathers that help kids see where their very own Catholic faith comes from.
The Story of All Stories is truly how Catholic children were meant to encounter Scripture.

Fwd: Your 2025 Wrapped (Come and See edition)
Celebrating Jesus along the Amazon River
Dear Rafé,
If all your favorite music and social media can do a "2025 Wrapped," we figured—why not us, too?
So, here it is.
Your Come and See 2025 Wrapped. (Minus any ads.)
The top moments YOU made possible this year:
Most-translated TV season in history
Season 1 of The Chosen officially broke a Guinness World Record. More languages than any TV show has ever reached. Ever.
Millions watched. For Free.
Through The Chosen App and The Chosen Lite, people around the world pressed play—freely. No subscriptions. No barriers.
Heart-language > everything
People didn't just watch. They understood. They heard the story of Jesus in the language they speak, pray, and think.
Unexpected places. Real people. Real impact.
From major cities to remote communities, stories kept coming in—hope restored, faith renewed, conversations started.
What made all of this possible? YOU did.
Your generosity. Your prayers. Your willingness to support the story—again and again.
If this were a real Wrapped, it would end with something like: "Thanks for being a top listener."
But this is bigger than that.
You helped carry the story of Jesus to the world.
And together, we're "just getting started."
